Letter from Alice: Celebrating Achievements and Looking Forward
Dear Beyond Celiac Community,
As we approach the end of this year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. Together, we’ve accomplished so much, and it is your dedication that fuels our mission to transform the lives of those affected by celiac disease. This December, as we celebrate the season of giving, let us reflect on the progress we’ve made.
In the past few years, we’ve achieved significant milestones in our pursuit of treatments leading to a cure, thanks to your generosity and unwavering support. We have published original research with data through our patient registry Go Beyond Celiac, awarded nearly a dozen grants, and assisted multiple companies in recruiting for their clinical trials. Already there are 16 (yes, 16!) drugs in the clinical trial pipeline. You can read about many of those updates on our research news feed.
Our progress has brought us closer to a future where individuals with celiac disease can eat without fear. This dream alone kindles hope in the hearts of many—rest assured that there is a light at the end of this dark night. Our dream is within our reach, and we can make it a reality by standing together.
At Beyond Celiac, we believe in the power of unity and the strength of community. We invite you to join us in accelerating our mission to find a cure for celiac disease. By supporting our groundbreaking research projects, grants, clinical trial recruitment, and more, you become an integral part of our journey toward scientific advancements and, ultimately, a world where we can live life to the fullest.
As we move forward into the new year, I encourage you to continue your support and involvement with Beyond Celiac. Kindle the fire of progress. Together, we can turn hope into reality and make a profound difference in the lives of those affected by celiac disease.
Thank you for being an essential part of our community. Wishing you a warm and joyful holiday season.
With deepest gratitude,
Alice Bast, CEO
