Sarah Jane Smith Earns Career High LPGA Ranking

2010 season performance puts NFCA spokeswoman among top 100 golfers on tour.

The LPGA recently released its 2010 Rankings and we’re excited to report that NFCA spokeswoman Sarah Jane Smith lists among the 100 best female golfers on tour, achieving a career high ranking of 64th!

Her 2010 LPGA season highlights include a tie for 14th place at the LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans; tie for 16th at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic; tie for 20th at the Tres Marias Championship; tie for 30th a the CN Canadian Women’s Open and tie for 55th at the RICOH Women’s British Open.

She finished 66th on the Official Money List, earning $106,518.00 in prize money.

Since being diagnosed with celiac, Sarah Jane’s improved health and fitness has propelled her to the top of the LPGA in just four seasons on tour. In 2009, she finished 109th on the Rolex Rankings chart.

She will return to her home in Australia this offseason to play on the Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) tour.
