Gluten-free cookbooks and food will be highlighted in hour-long broadcast.
Retail giant QVC will host an hour-long broadcast devoted to gluten-free next week. Eating Gluten Free – Food & Cookbooks will air on March 23 at 4 p.m. ET, with cooking demonstrations and special deals on gluten-free products.
Carol Kicinski of Simply…Gluten-Free will appear with her new cookbook, Simply…Gluten-free Desserts. The professional recipe developer, food writer and TV chef proudly announced the news earlier this week. “It just doesn’t get much more main-stream than QVC, with its millions of viewers, so I am very excited to be part of this exciting television event,” she blogged.
Shane Thompson, founder & president of Shane’s Rib Shack, will also join the broadcast. Shane will talk about gluten-free options offered at Shane’s Rib Shack, including his popular hickory-smoked ribs. Viewers will have the chance to purchase a package of pre-cooked ribs along with Shane’s Original gluten-free BBQ sauce and three recipes from The Shane Family Grill Book, so they can try Shane’s Rib Shack at home.
