NFCA is among contributors to Silvana Nardone’s 31 days of gluten-free cookies.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness is participating in an online cookie exchange. Hosted by Cooking for Isaiah author Silvana Nardone, “Silvana’s Gluten-Free Holiday Cookie Countdown 2010” will feature 31 cookie recipes from top gluten-free bloggers and bakers.
The “Cookie Countdown” kicks off Dec. 1, 2010 on Nardone’s blog, www.dishtoweldiaries.com, with a new recipe will be posted each day. Visitors will also have the chance to win a giveaway each day, adding up to 31 unique prizes.
NFCA contributed a recipe from team member Nancy Baker, who has created numerous recipes for NFCA’s Gluten-Free Recipe of the Week blog. Other “Cookie Countdown” contributors include Gluten-Free Girl Shauna Ahern, the Renegade Chef Dan Kohler (star of NFCA’s Alternative Appetites videos) and Amy Green of Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free.
