Michael Danke is the Iron Celiac

So why this topic for a blog? Partially, I’d just like to keep a training log. I’d also like for it to be a source of tips and tricks for people who are considering doing an Ironman race.”

“So why this topic for a blog? Partially, I’d just like to keep a training log. I’d also like for it to be a source of tips and tricks for people who are considering doing an Ironman race. Mostly, though, I’d like for it to be an avenue where people become more aware of how common Celiac is and maybe help some of their sick friends get diagnosed. So I plan to talk about Celiac, Ironman training, and then whatever else comes up.”

This is how Michael describes his personal blog entitled Iron Celiac, where he also discusses his training and experiences as an athlete with celiac disease.Michael is really using the blogosphere to spread celiac disease awareness and really working hard in his training and blogging efforts!

No matter where Michael posts, you will be able to read everything he is posting in the blogosphere here on NFCA’s ‘Athletes for Awareness’ blog!! Michael will cross link his Iron Celiac posts on this site as well as continue to post exclusive content on this blog as an ‘Athlete for Awareness’ for NFCA.
