The former First Lady and current Secretary of State was spotted enjoying gluten-free and vegan birthday cake with her family.
Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, was seen celebrating her 65th birthday with husband Bill and daughter Chelsea at the Mayflower Inn in Washington, CT. Joining them at the small celebration was a gluten-free, vegan birthday cake.
This is not the first time the Clintons have made the news for gluten-free cake. The media buzzed over Chelsea’s gluten-free wedding cake two years ago. While the exact nature of Chelsea’s gluten-related disorder is unclear, reports suggest that she has a “gluten allergy.”
