National Foundation for Celiac Awareness announces Grand Prize Winner in Gluten-Free Holiday Recipe Contest, sponsored by Crunchmaster.
The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is excited to announce the winner of the 2012 Gluten-Free Holiday Recipe Contest, sponsored by Crunchmaster.
Heather Markowski won the $500 Grand Prize for her recipe for Prosciutto Provolone Mini Quiches. The holiday appetizer uses crushed Crunchmaster crackers to create a gluten-free crust, then is filled with a savory blend of egg, cheese, Italian ham and sundried tomatoes. The quiches are made in individual portions, which make them convenient for single-serving appetizers or as part of a gluten-free breakfast buffet.
Nine First Prize winners were also selected by the judges. These winners will each receive a free mixed case of Crunchmaster’s new Cheezy Crisps and Grammy Crisps:
These 10 winning recipes will be published in a Gluten-Free Holiday eCookbook from the NFCA. The eCookbook was released in a special eblast the week of December 5, 2012. Click here to download the free eCookbook.
Congratulations to all the winners!
