Gluten Free Calendar Receives Investment from Mark Cuban

The owner of the Dallas Mavericks and “Shark Tank” panelist has invested in the company and joined its advisory board.

Entrepreneur Mark Cuban’s interest in the gluten-free market is expanding. In August 2012, he announced his investment in the gluten-free smart phone app, Find Me Gluten Free, after he placed stake in Naked Pizza, a national pizza chain serving gluten-free options. He’s found his latest gluten-free investment opportunity with Gluten Free Calendar.

Gluten Free Calendar hosts gluten-free and celiac awareness events with professional sports teams throughout the US and promotes nonprofit awareness and fundraising events as well. Cuban’s investment will allow the site to host more events around the country as well as improve upon the current annual events hosted by the company. The Gluten Free Calendar has been a supporter of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) and we are excited to see the enhancements this investment brings to the site!
