Driving Celiac Awareness Across the Globe

International car race includes two vehicles with message of gluten intolerance.

More than 100 vintage vehicles are participating in the Peking to Paris Motor Challenge, an international road race covering more than 9,000 miles. Among this year’s participants, two cars are representing celiac disease and gluten intolerance.

Sponsored by Glutenfreeda Foods, which manufactures gluten-free and wheat-free products, the two cars will travel through 11 counties in 37 days. The race launched in Peking on Sept. 10 and will end Oct. 16, when the cars arrive in Paris.

Fans can watch video journals from the road and monitor the cars’ progress through Skytag Vehicle Tracking on the Peking to Paris website, or follow the action on the race’s Facebook page.
