Michael Solomonov challenges Jose Garces on Food Network this Sunday.
This Sunday night, “Iron Chef America” will be Philly-focused as Chef Michael Solomonov takes on Iron Chef Jose Garces in Kitchen Stadium. Both chefs have restaurants in Philadelphia that have participated in Appetite for Awareness, the annual gluten-free food fest hosted by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness.
Chef Michael Solomonov owns Zahav, Xochitl and Percy Street Barbecue in Philadelphia. Iron Chef Garces owns Garces Restaurant Group, which runs Amada, Chifa and several other restaurants in Philadelphia. Zahav and Chifa have participated in Appetite for Awareness and, along with Xochitl and Amada, are GREAT-trained in gluten-free food preparation.
