Living with Celiac Disease

Hi, I’m Hannah and I’m a professional quantitative researcher living in New York City. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2012 when I was in my first year of high school. Having to adopt a gluten-free diet at such a formative age helped me to learn to advocate for myself, but it certainly wasn’t an easy path. Over the years, I have often missed some of my favorite foods from my childhood. This propelled me into a love of baking for myself, my family, and friends. I’m a highly collaborative and experimental baker who is always looking for new recipes and methods to incorporate in my repertoire.

Making a Difference

I am so excited to be part of this amazing group of Beyond Celiac ambassadors. I cannot wait to use my background in data science to help make the gluten free-diet easier and more enjoyable for those in need.
