German Society of Digestive and Metabolic Diseases: Spring Conference

The German Society of Digestive and Metabolic Diseases is proud to announce its Spring Conference 2012. This year’s topic will be “Frontiers in Coeliac Disease.” The Society has invited a number of distinguished speakers in the field who will deliver state-of-the-art overviews on different aspects of celiac pathophysiology, including immunopathogenesis, epithelial barrier, refractory celiac disease, epidemiology, and recent developments in celiac diagnostics.

This year´s Spring Conference is dedicated to Professor Riecken in honor of his 80th birthday. Professor Riecken has pushed forward both clinical and basic research on celiac disease for several decades.
