Susannah Faulkner has been a proud advocate for celiac awareness and the gluten-free lifestyle since her diagnosis in 2005. During her time at Ithaca College, she led the campaign to increase the gluten-free and allergen-free options on campus as well as co-founded the Food Allergy Awareness Club. Now, she works at Udi’s Gluten Free Foods as the University Outreach Specialist.

In October, Susannah competed in Denver’s Queen Colleen Contest, which is organized by the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Committee. Each year, the Queen Colleen represents Denver’s Irish heritage and community. For the contest, Susannah was proudly sponsored by Udi’s and chose NFCA as her charity. Although she did not win, Susannah had a great time competing as well as educating guests on NFCA!
