Inappropriate Question:

My vitamin D level was 20 ng/ML
. How many supplements should I take and how long will it take to get it back to normal?

Appropriate Question:

I have celiac disease and my doctor said my vitamin D level is low. I’m taking a supplement, but what are some natural ways I can increase my vitamin D?

Irrelevant Question:

My doctor said I have to lose 30 lbs. What should I eat?

Relevant Question:

I’ve noticed that a lot of gluten-free cookies and cakes are higher in sugar and fat than “regular” stuff. What can I make that’s gluten-free and cuts down on sugar, but still feels like dessert?

Please be advised that our expert dietitians respond to questions with the general celiac disease population in mind. Your individual health needs may be different from those addressed in these responses.
