4/26/2009 |
On Sunday, April 26, 2009, NFCA representatives will man a booth at the 17th Annual Food Expo at Loew’s Hotel in Philadelphia from 9 AM until 6 PM. This expo is sponsored by the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education (CACE). Loew’s Hotel is located at 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia. The expo is all about healthy eating, a topic near and dear to all who are managung a gluten-free diet. The show will feature expert speakers, food prep demos, free samples and over 50 exhibitors emphasizing the value of whole foods and healthy lifestyle basics. Working with CACE is important to NFCA as we work to gain a prompt diagnosis for those with celiac disease. Undiagnosed celiac can lead to numerous other diseases and health care problems, incuding some cancers. Getting out the word about the impact of undiagnosed celiac disease is critically important to meeting our mission of restoring health and reclaiming lives.
