Registration Required. Tradition with a twist is coming to the Greensgrow Community Kitchen on September 9! Join Alan Mathson from Motzi Bakery at our Gluten Free Jewish Baking Workshop, where you’ll learn to make quintessential Jewish desserts; moist apple cake and beautiful macaroons, that are 100% gluten free!

Alan will give us hand on instructions as we make these treats together from start to finish. We’ll learn everything from correct mixing and baking procedures for successful gluten free dishes, to decorating skills, like tempering chocolate and shaping macaroons. After we roll up our sleeves and get our hands messy, we’ll all take home a sample to share, along with recipes!

Alan Mathson is the founder of Motzi Bakery, which specializes in updated traditional Jewish baked goods. Motzi Bakery is a small batch bakery that uses local freshly stone ground whole grain in his babka and cookies, fresh fruit for his fillings and made in small batches for quality and consistency.

PLEASE NOTE: Cancellations within 72 hours of the start of class are nonrefundable or transferable. Workshop refunds and transfers requested earlier than 72 hours before the class start time will be charged a $5.00 processing fee.

Note: Beyond Celiac provides information on gluten-free events as a service to the community.
