Free Movie Premiere: The Celiac Project

The Colorado Center for Celiac Disease at Children’s Hospital Colorado is celebrating its one year anniversary with the exclusive Denver premiere of The Celiac Project, a documentary about life before and after the diagnosis of celiac disease. Diagnosed at age 40, filmmaker Michael Frolichstein set out on a five-year journey to meet others suffering with celiac disease. The result was this dynamic documentary, which features National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) President and CEO Alice Bast.

The Colorado Center for Celiac Disease at Children’s Colorado will host a meet and greet prior to the film with delicious gluten-free treats provided by Udi’s Gluten Free, Glutino, and Earth Balance.

You may also stay for a Q&A and panel discussion following the screening of The Celiac Project, where Children’s Colorado’s team of celiac experts will join Michael Frolichstein, baker Jake Rosenbarger of Kim & Jake’s Gluten-Free, and special guests from our celiac disease community to talk more about the serious genetic autoimmune condition.
