About Destination: Cure To Go Beyond Celiac Join us for a Spooktacular night! Destination: Cure To Go Beyond Celiac is a the most haunted house in Utah! Bring the whole family to walk through room after room of ghosts and goblins just waiting to give you a thrill! Desination: Cure To Go Beyond Celiac benefits celiac disease research. Celiac disease is a serious, genetic autoimmune disorder triggered by consuming a protein called gluten, which is found in wheat, barley and rye. The effects can lead to neurological problems, infertility, gastrointestinal problems, stagnant growth in children and in some cases, cancer. The only current treatment for celiac disease is a lifelong gluten-free diet, which is often ineffective. There are no medications or surgeries that can cure the autoimmune disease.
Proceeds from Destination: Cure To Go Beyond Celiac will be donated to Beyond Celiac – a nonprofit organization focused on driving diagnosis for celiac disease, advance research, and accelerate the discovery of new treatments and cure. |
