Mr. Nishant Rastogi is a life sciences investor, with more than a decade of experience across venture capital, private equity, finance, biotech, and pharma. He has been a founding member of multiple private investment funds focused on healthcare, and has served as an advisor and Board member for numerous biotech and medtech companies operating across various therapeutic areas and stages of development. Currently, Nishant is the founding Managing Director of Lupus Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on lupus and related autoimmune conditions. Previously, he was VP, Head of Transactions at New Rhein Healthcare, an international pharma-centric private equity fund, where he led all investment team activities including search, evaluation, and transaction execution. His transaction experience spans private equity and debt investments, M&A, private placements, academic and pharma licensing, company creation, and others. Nishant began his investment career at Broadview Ventures, a Boston-based venture capital fund focused on cardiovascular care. Prior to his work in healthcare, Nishant was an analyst at Fidelity Investments. Nishant holds a B.A in Economics from Dartmouth College, and earned his MBA from Northwestern University.
