Mary Tackett
Chief of Staff
Since joining Beyond Celiac in 2016, Mary has primarily focused on a wide range of advancement activities, including fundraising, donor relations and grant proposals and reporting. As Chief of Staff, she now helps to lead the organization on matters of high-level strategic planning, communications, and executive support to ensure mission alignment and efficiency. She previously worked as an academic and clinical medical librarian, completing a post-graduate fellowship at the NIH’s National Library of Medicine. Mary attended Cornell University and spent a year at King’s College, London as an undergraduate, earning a BA in English. She also holds an MLS from the University of Maryland’s College of Information. Mary is currently based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
