The Celiac Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) announced the latest addition to their comprehensive celiac disease website, CeliacNow.org: The Medical Management Section.
The section contains an extensive list of articles on celiac disease diagnosis and treatment, all written by expert dietitians and clinicians. The new section contains the most current information on blood tests, genetic testing, screening and the importance of early diagnosis, non-responsive celiac disease and more. Because CeliacNow.org is broken down into a variety of sections, visitors can easily navigate the information at their own pace.
BIDMC is home to two of NFCA’s Scientific/Advisory Council Members, Ciaran P. Kelly, MD and Daniel A. Leffler, MD, MS. NFCA often works closely with Melinda Dennis, MS, RD, LDN, the Nutrition Coordinator at the Celiac Center at BIDMC, the Project Coordinator and lead nutrition author and editor for CeliacNow.org, and a former NFCA webinar panelist.
