Hi! My name is Olga Makarova, and I’m a current student from New York with a background in Russia and Spain. As someone interested in entrepreneurship, I believe in its ability to drive social change—using innovation and perspective to create tangible solutions that improve the accessibility, comprehension, and support of what it actually means to live with celiac.
Through Beyond Celiac, I hope to spread awareness and strengthen communal support by making celiac disease more visible, understandable, and practical across day-to-day needs, so that it doesn’t stay abstract or clinical, but instead shows in the way people make decisions and navigate daily life.
