I was diagnosed with celiac disease at age 11, and since then, living with celiac has become an important part of who I am. Having to advocate for myself in different situations has helped me gain a lot of confidence, not only when it comes to managing celiac disease, but in other areas of my life as well. Outside of celiac advocacy, I am a competitive tennis player and tennis instructor, and I have held various leadership roles throughout high school. I’m excited to have the opportunity to become a Beyond Celiac Ambassador and to use my experiences to raise awareness, connect with others, and make a positive impact in the celiac community!
