Gluten-Free Cooking with Frito-Lay Giveaway Winner Announced

NFCA Facebook community member wins in a recipe series highlighting Frito-Lay’s naturally gluten-free products
Many of Frito-Lay’s products, including Classic Potato Chips, Fritos, and Baked Lay’s, are naturally
gluten-free. The company recently developed a validation process and is working to label the appropriate products as gluten-free. To help spread the word, Frito-Lay asked NFCA to try out recipes featuring these naturally gluten-free products. With the help of gluten-free bloggers, NFCA put these recipes to the test in the Gluten-Free Cooking with Frito-Lay recipe series and giveaway.
Recipes highlighted in the giveaway included:
- Chocolate and Potato Chip Cookies, tested by Cheryl McEvoy of Gluten-Free Hot Products
- Baked Stuffed Tomatoes, tested by Erin Smith of Gluten-Free Fun
- Tostitos Crust Party Quiches, tested by Laura Hanley of G-Free Laura
- Chipotle Frito Meringues, tested by Rachelle King ofBlind by the Bite
- Frito Waffles with Mascarpone & Warm Strawberry Compote, tested by Jenny Manseau of Creative Cooking Gluten-Free
As each recipe was revealed and reviewed, the online community was encouraged to enter the giveaway for a chance to win the products featured in the recipes. Congratulations to Patricia Castrejon for being the lucky grand prize winner in the giveaway!
