Turner is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience serving in several leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, spanning venture capital, corporate development, and strategic alliance management across early-stage private venture backed to public commercial organizations. Previously, Turner held senior roles at Mirati Therapeutics (acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb), Curzion Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Horizon Therapeutics), and Regulus Therapeutics (acquired by Novartis). Turner has two children with celiac and knows firsthand the burden the disease has on patients and family members. He is passionate about advancing treatments towards a cure. Turner earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UCSD.
