Althea Stillman

Althea Stillman, PhD, is an experienced business development leader and biotech investor specializing in early-stage life science technologies. She currently serves as Director of Partnerships and IP at Biohub, an initiative focused on building frontier AI for biology and funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Over the past year, Althea co-founded a biotech startup while also serving as an Executive in Residence at UCSF. Previously, she was an Investment Partner at Longview Innovation, the U.S. affiliate of IP Group, a venture capital firm. In this role, she led company formation and fundraising efforts and held senior leadership positions within portfolio companies. Althea holds a PhD in Genetics from Yale University and a BA in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley. She is deeply passionate about advancing early-stage technologies to address unmet medical needs and is personally committed to improving treatments for celiac disease, which affects both a close friend and a family member.
