Michelle Pierson is a passionate advocate for celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and food allergies. As a proud mother of two daughters, her family’s journey with food allergies began over 20 years ago and has given her firsthand insight into the daily challenges of managing complex dietary needs, as one of her children lives with celiac disease as well as a severe egg and peanut allergy. Michelle’s own personal experience with celiac disease and her daughter’s diagnosis has deepened her commitment to increasing awareness, expanding education, and providing greater support for individuals and families affected by gluten-related disorders and food allergies. She is dedicated to educating, connecting, and empowering individuals and families navigating these conditions.
Michelle also serves as the Community Engagement & Recruitment Lead Volunteer for FooDiversity, an organization dedicated to lessening the burden of limited access to medically necessary food for people with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and food allergies.
