National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) Athlete for Awareness Sarah Jane Smith is edging out the competition at the Women’s Victorian Open, a professional golf tournament happening in Australia.

Smith, an NFCA Athlete for Awareness in honor of her mother who is diagnosed with celiac disease, impressively managed to be ten-under-par after her opening round in the tournament. Her talented competition, including Laura Davies, Nikki Campbell and Anne-Lise Caudal, are trailing Smith with six-under-par standings.
