For her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, Katie decided to raise awareness about celiac disease! She ran a stand at Elementary School’s International Night,as well as a booth at the local flea market. At her stand she educated the public about celiac by handing out informational cookbooks! They provided her visitors with a handy reference of not only gluten-free recipes, but of general information about celiac. Katie enjoyed the experience so much she wants to continue to do the booths on her own. Thanks for spreading the word about celiac disease Katie! You are a celiac awareness all-star!
