Hi there, my name is Julia Auerbach and I am nineteen years old and from downtown Chicago. I currently attend Northwestern University and am on the pre-med track studying science in human culture and Spanish.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease at twelve, and ever since have been educating many others in my community. I am very passionate about improving the college experience for those with food allergies and food-related conditions such as celiac disease and am starting a club on campus next fall. I have also dedicated a significant amount of time working with a Northwestern research lab to investigate the transition from high school to college for those with food allergies and celiac disease.

Outside of school and food allergy research, I really enjoy playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with my friends!
