Gluten-free baking chemistry lesson: Even innocent looking batter can bubble over and start an oven fire. Keep baking soda handy to through on an oven fire. And don't forget to call 911.

It may be more difficult to make gluten-free baked goods rise than their gluten-containing counterparts, but that doesn't mean they can't bubble over and cause a fire in your oven. Always make sure you're checking in on your baked goods and don't forget to set the timer!
