Easy Gluten-Free Snacks

Question:

I’m old enough to stay home alone for a few hours, but my parents don’t want me to use the stove. What’s an easy snack I can make?

Answer:

My favorite easy snack is meat, cheese, and gluten-free crackers. Another convenient snack is nuts or microwave popcorn (make sure to check the label first). Jell-O and pudding cups make a nice sweet snack. There are several types of chips that are gluten-free like Cool Ranch Doritos and plain salted chips (double check the label).

If you are pretty hungry and want something more filling, make a sandwich with gluten-free bread and turkey or gluten-free toast with peanut butter. Another snack that’s easy is any fruit or vegetable that you like with a little side. For example, carrots and peanut butter or celery and gluten-free Ranch dressing.
