Gluten-Free Baking Hack #4
Making a brand new recipe right before the holiday party? Go on, you daredevil!
Gluten-free or not, it’s always better to take your new recipe for a test drive beforebringing it to a party. You never know what could happen – cooking times may need to be adjusted, you might not actually have as many ingredients in the cabinet like you thought you did, it might be a bad recipe…. The possibilities for issues are endless.
We’re not saying don’t try out new recipes. You absolutely should! Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make adjustments, especially when baking gluten-free. If you’re not experienced in using a variety of gluten-free flours, it might take a try or two to work out the kinks.
Don’t be afraid to have some fun with your recipe tests! Get the kids involved or invite a friend over to be your first taste-tester. Just make sure it’s the friend that isn’t afraid to tell you how it is.
