As Opening Day approaches, gluten-free Philadelphia Phillies fans will have one more thing to look forward to this season: a permanent, exclusively gluten-free concession stand at Citizens Bank Park.

Recognizing the need for gluten-free options, Aramark, the foodservice provider for the stadium, will have the gluten-free concession stand ready to go for Opening Day. The park regularly offers a few gluten-free options at select concession stands, but this will be the first permanent stand, equipped with an expanded gluten-free menu.

The stand will be located in section 136. Aramark says the base menu will be hot dogs, cheese steaks, pizza and their usual gluten-free snacks, but they’re aiming to add a few new flavors by Opening Day.

Want to check out the stand for yourself? Join the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) for Celiac Awareness Night on Friday, August 16. Visit the Upcoming Events page for all the details.
