World Record Holder and Celiac Athlete to Appear on “NY Ink”

Kicking4Celiac founder Craig Pinto will talk about living with celiac disease on TLC show this Thursday night.

Celiac Disease Athlete Craig PintoTwo time World Record holder and celiac disease advocate Craig Pinto will appear in an episode of “NY Ink” airing on TLC this Thursday, January 5, 2012, at 9 p.m. ET. Craig, who is a former professional indoor football player, will talk about living with celiac disease and his foundation, Kicking4Celiac.

Craig is known in the celiac and gluten-free community for kicking a record number of field goals in a designated time period – all on behalf of celiac awareness. In 2010, Craig kicked 717 field goals in 12 hours as a fundraiser for celiac disease research. In 2011, Craig set his sights higher and kicked 1,000 field goals in 24 hours, this time to raise money for a new college scholarship program he founded.
