thinkThin CEO to Host Celiac Disease, Gluten-Free Walk to Support NFCA and Drive Awareness

Walk coincides with Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA; public is invited to join in solidarity.

Yesterday, thinkproducts announced that CEO Lizanne Falsetto will lead the first thinkThin Los Angeles Area Celiac Disease, Gluten Free Walk to honor families dealing with the disease, raise awareness about gluten free options and benefits, and support the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA).

Together with her daughter, who is allergic to gluten, Ms. Falsetto will kick off the walk with parents, teachers and children at the Anaheim (CA) Convention Center entrance on Saturday, March 12, at 2 pm. The walk is open to the public and coincides with the Natural Products Expo West, where many gluten-free companies will be exhibiting. Participants should meet at the thinkThin tent at entrance of the Convention Center at 800 West Katella Ave., Anaheim, CA 92802.

“As Celiac Disease and gluten sensitivity become better diagnosed, the accessibility to healthy, gluten-free food products will become more vital for families,” said NFCA President Alice Bast. “The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness applauds companies like thinkThin for providing nutritious, gluten-free bars that are portable and delicious for the whole family.”

thinkproducts produces thinkThin, a popular line of gluten-free nutrition bars. With her knowledge of gluten intolerance, Ms. Falsetto took the company from a kitchen start-up to a national brand that supports gluten-free nutritional needs.
