NFCA Launches Gluten-Free in College Blog Series

Gluten-free college students and recent grads share their experiences, sponsored by Kettle Cuisine.

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) has launched a special blog series focusing on gluten-free life in college. Sponsored by Kettle Cuisine, the new series features eight students and recent grads who have learned to manage a gluten-free diet on and off campus.

Gluten-Free College BloggersThe blog series kicked off on Monday, March 5, 2012, with a post on “Making the Gluten-Free Transition in College.” Other topics include “Getting ‘Glutened’ at College: How to Deal” and “Sorority Life: Gluten-Free.” NFCA is sharing these posts in the hope that it helps other current and prospective college students who are affected by gluten-related disorders.

The series will culminate in the release of “GREAT U,” a new digital publication designed to educate and empower gluten-free college students.

In addition to supporting this series, Kettle Cuisine is running the “Get On, Give One” campaign to benefit The Greater Boston Food Bank. The campaign is hosted on Kettle Cuisine’s Facebook page and runs through March 2012.
