NFCA Founder Tells Viewers to Bring Their Appetite for Awareness

Alice Bast talked with NBC10 Philadelphia about this Sunday’s gluten-free food fest.

Appetite for Awareness is this Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, in Philadelphia. The annual event organized by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness offers gluten-free food and fun, all in the name of celiac awareness.

Alice Bast, founder & president of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, stopped by NBC10 Philadelphia for a “Health Watch” segment about living with celiac disease. Bast discussed the symptoms of celiac disease and encouraged viewers to complete the Symptoms Checklist online. She also invited everyone to attend Appetite for Awareness for an afternoon filled with delicious food.
