NFCA and GREAT Program make headlines in St. Louis

NFCA and Gluten-free Resource Education Awareness Training (GREAT) Program friends and representatives were highlighted in a St. Louis Beacon article on celiac disease.

NFCA and Gluten-free Resource Education Awareness Training (GREAT) Program friends and representatives were highlighted in a St. Louis Beacon article on celiac disease. Among those quoted in the article was Brent Tetri MD, internist at the St. Louis University Medical Center. Doctor Tetri participated in the 2008 NFCA St. Louis Gluten-Free Cooking Spree, cooking along side standout area chefs in an effort to raise money for celiac disease awareness.

NFCA’s Great Program was also featured in the article as well. Local restaurants Café Napoli, Pasta House and Fitz’s were recognized for their participation in the program and for their gluten-free friendly menus. St. Louis area GREAT Guide Linda King was also mentioned for her role in training these establishments, and improving the gluten-free community!
