NFCA is saddened to share the news of the passing of Martin Kagnoff, MD, former member of NFCA’s Scientific/Medical Advisory Council.
It is with great sadness that the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) shares the news of the passing of Martin Kagnoff, MD. In addition to being a former member of NFCA’s Scientific/Medical Advisory Council, Dr. Kagnoff was Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics, Emeritus, and Director of the Laboratory of Mucosal Immunology at UC San Diego. He was a pioneer in academic gastroenterology and research.
NFCA is honored to have worked with Dr. Kagnoff and offers its sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
