Mark Cuban Invests in Growing Gluten-Free Market

“Shark Tank” panelist and savvy investor has stake in gluten-free dining.

Mark Cuban, panelist on the TV series “Shark Tank” and owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, is well known for his investment ventures. But did you know he’s taken an interest in gluten-free?

In 2009, Cuban invested in Naked Pizza, a national pizza chain that offers a gluten-free crust option. Now, he has added Find Me Gluten-Free, the gluten-free restaurant search app, to the list. He recently discovered the app after facilitating an advertising sponsorship between Find Me Gluten Free and Naked Pizza. The advertising deal sparked his interest in the app, leading him to make an investment in the company.
