Server from participating restaurant wins a 1-year lease on a Mercedes Benz.
Kameron Schleifer decided to attend Appetite for Awareness 2012, Philadelphia’s premier gluten-free food fest, for two reasons. One, Kameron is gluten-free and two, he is an employee at Alma de Cuba, a participating restaurant at Appetite to Awareness.
With the help of Park Avenue Motor Cars, the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) hosted a drawing to win a 1-year lease on a Mercedes Benz, with the winner to be announced at Appetite for Awareness. Shortly before the announcement, Kameron decided to test his luck and purchase a ticket for the drawing to support NFCA. A few minutes later, he was being called up to the center stage to collect his winnings from NFCA Founder and President Alice Bast and Dr. Anthony DiMarino, Chief, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Congratulations to Kameron for winning the lease on the Mercedes Benz! Thank you for your support of NFCA and enjoy your new ride!
