Joseph Epstein Food Enterprises, Inc. Recalls Gluten-Free Turkey Meatball Products Due to Misbranding

190 pounds of turkey meatball products are being recalled due to being mislabeled as “gluten-free.”

Joseph Epstein Food Enterprises, Inc. is recalling 190 pounds of Mama Mancini’s turkey meatball products as they have been mislabeled with the words “gluten-free” on the label.

The recall items were produced on October 19th, 2015. They have the establishment number “P-21734” inside the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) mark of inspection, product code 4740 and expiration date “Use by 12/10/15. The product was shipped to retail locations in New Jersey.
