Star’s 6-year-old is up front about eating gluten-free food.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is often listed among celebrities who eat gluten-free, but what about her kids’ diets? According to Apple, Paltrow’s 6-year-old daughter, she’s tried gluten-free, but doesn’t ascribe to the diet (nor, it appears, does she have the need to).
A New York Post article referred to Apple’s take on gluten-free, stating that the child was quoted as saying “I’m not gluten-free, but I like gluten-free food.”
According to Babble.com, the quote comes from Paltrow’s new cookbook, My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family and Togetherness.
At a time when it’s unclear which celebrities are going gluten-free for medical need or for the sheer fad, Apple’s statement offers a dose of honesty. But while gluten-free isn’t a mainstay in Apple’s diet, she is a vegetarian, theNew York Postnoted.
