Gluten-Free Runner Powers Through Toughest Course Yet

Peter Bronski

Athlete for Awareness Peter Bronski completes the Golden Gate Dirty Thirty 50K.

National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) Athlete for Awareness Peter Bronski is back in action! Bronski just completed his third race of his marathon-running season: The Golden Gate Dirty Thirty 50k.

The course has a whopping 8,000 feet of elevation gain and 16,000 vertical feet of elevation change, making it the steepest ultramarathon per mile that Bronski has ever run. Bronski admits he was surprised by the toughness of the course as he had misread the stats for the course. Despite his surprise, the gluten-free runner completed the race, placing 123 out of 259 other finishers.

Check out photos from the run and read more about the grueling course on Bronski’s blog, No Gluten, No Problem.
