Celiac Disease–Canadian Style!

The Canadian Celiac Association has produced a significant study, the Canadian Celiac Health Survey.

This 2007 Canadian studywas one of the most extensive programs undertaken related to celiac disease. The goal was to “characterize the diagnostic process, frequency of associated disorders, family history and impact of a gluten-free diet in individuals with celiac disease.”

To gain a broad picture of issues related to celiac disease, all members of the Canadian Celiac Association were surveyed providing a database of over 5,000 people.
