2 Ground-Breaking Celiac Disease Events, 1 GREAT Workshop

Learn more about what’s happening in the field of celiac disease research.

It’s an exciting time in the field of celiac disease! Research is suggesting that the gluten-free diet alone is not enoughto stay healthy for most people living with this serious genetic autoimmune condition. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responding to the need for alternative therapies to treat celiac disease. On March 30-31, 2015, the FDA is hosting a landmark event focused on improving our treatment options: The Gastroenterology Regulatory Endpoints and the Advancement of Therapeutics (GREAT) 3 Workshop.

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is thrilled to be part of this momentous event. Members of the NFCA team will be in attendance, including President and CEO Alice Bast. Alice will represent the voice of our communitythrough a presentation focused on the unmet needs of those living with celiac disease.
