The Green Bay Packers open the NFL regular season with celiac friendly menu.

As the NFL regular season kicks off tonight, with the reigning Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers set to face off against the New Orleans Saints, it’s news over the team’s additions off the field has fans buzzing. For the 2011 season, Lambeau Field, home of the Packers, will debut a new gluten-free concession cart!

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette:

“The cart will include gluten-free hot dogs, chili dogs, nachos, Redbridge Beer, caramel and cheddar popcorn mix, Eden Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Eden Organic Beery Mix, Larabars, NuGo Free Dark Chocolate Bar, Skittles and gummy bears.

‘We wanted to react to what we were hearing in surveys and in person,’ said Jennifer Ark, director of guest and stadium experience for the Packers.”

Cheeseheads will be able to find these gluten-free concessions at a food cart located on the main concourse by section 133.
