Chef Pasquale Masters, the winner of the Gluten-Free Cooking Spree held in Philadelphia in June 2007, has taken a big step in addressing the quality of life for those with celiac disease. During the months of the September and October, PASTA POMODORO, in Voorhees, New Jersey, will donate $1.00 for every gluten-free item sold in support of TEAM CELIAC to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). The goal of TEAM CELIAC is to create awareness of Celiac Disease. The walk will be held on October 28, 2007 at Cooper River Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
