What If My Friends Don't Like My Gluten-Free Cake?

Question:

I want to have a gluten-free cake at my birthday party, but I’m afraid my friends will think it’s gross. What should I do if they don’t like it?

Answer:

Try buying a couple of gluten-free cake mixes and make some cakes a few days before your birthday. Have your family members taste them and rate which ones they like the best. If you want to make your cake fancy, try doing something different like using mint frosting or making a rainbow cake. I promise your cake will be delicious if you make it yourself – I often have friends asking me if they can take seconds of my baked goods. If you’re still nervous about your friends disliking it, you can always buy some ice cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and candy and let your friends make their own sundaes.
